As an ASE certified Master Auto Technician, Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, Certified California Smog Technician, Advanced Automotive Electrical / Electronics Specialist, as well as being a manager, general manager, shop foreman, lead technician, and instructor over the years at various reputable independent shops and dealerships. West Valley Smog was established in July 2004 in Simi Valley, CA with the intention of providing the next evolution of vehicle smog testing services. While most smog test stations are limited at just testing the vehicles or testing and repairing them, it stops there. At West Valley Smog we were able to partner up with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, through the business partner automation program, to offer registration and title services to our customers. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN...YOU ASK? Unlike most of the other test stations in Simi Valley, at West Valley Smog you can renew your registration or transfer ownership and receive your new tags, plates and registration documents on the spot.
